The Advice Centre offers a specialised welfare benefit service. This service seeks to maximise people's income by checking their benefit entitlement and offers representation at tribunal on negative Benefit Agency decisions.

The success rate of our representation service over the last year was 83%.

If you have received a Benefit Agency decision that you do not agree with, it is best to seek advice from an advice centre. They will look at the decision and give you an expert opinion on whether it can be successfully challenged and what the likely result will be. Being professionally represented at tribunals has been shown to increase the likelihood of the Benefit Agency decision being overturned.

There are many welfare benefits, both means-tested and non-means tested. You may be entitled to various benefits depending on your individual circumstances and your residency status in the UK.
